The Wycombe Ley Line

By using a folded out CD case, a pencil and a 1956 Ordnance Survey map of the Chilterns we have found a powerful Ley Line that cuts through the Desborough Hundred. Starting from the site of the ancient camp on West Wycombe Hill, now the burial mound of the Dashwoods, it heads east through Desborough Castle. From there it skims Newlands and goes right through Daws Hill Base  Hard-to-Find Farm  Flackwell Heath  Northend Woods in Wooburn Green, believed to be the burial site of Lollard Thomas Chase murdered in 1506 whilst held captive at Little Ease in Wooburn Palace which is where the ley goes next  Burghers Hill atop which is a large radio mast and we lost track of it after it crossed an ancient enclosure in Burnham Beeches. The day after we made the discovery, the Bucks Free Press reported that a man was found burning in a car on the top of West Wycombe Hill at the point the ley line emerges. The Police could find no apparent reason for the fire.
